Ottawa Journal explores Bronson Bridge.

Under the Bronson bridge, following the trail on the south side of the park,

you are led to two beautiful walls covered with art, color and the imagination of local Ottawa artists. The sound of Rideau River flowing by, the frequent buzzing of cars passing overhead, the feel of barren land under your feet, the smell of fresh cut grass in the breeze from brewer park all make this spot perfect to hang out with your friends, clear your head for a moment, and even take your next IG photo!
This wonderful art installation is a piece of work by House of PainT, which is a group that works towards promoting the urban arts and culture in Ottawa. Their main event is the House of PainT Festival, a 4-day-long event featuring slam poetry, break dance battles, hip hop performances, after parties, and the art wall under the bridge. House of PainT holds this festival annually, which means there is a new art piece installed every year!

The artists used a wide variety of pure and vibrant colors, that blow life into their art, every stroke with a meaning behind it, and every picture with a story of its own. This spot has a feel and a vibe of its own. With all the walls around you covered in art, you feel like you are in a downtown alley with painted walls – but then you realize all the nature around you, and begin to think of it as an art installation out in nature. The creation of humans coexisting with the creation of nature. For those of you who did not know about this amazing spot in the middle of Ottawa, head down there this weekend, enjoy the cool fall breeze and explore it!
